The emerging kehillah is responsible for providing the

Gladstein Rabbinic Fellow with meals, travel reimbursement, and housing within reasonable walking distance of the synagogue. An emerging kehillah may make separate financial arrangements with the Fellow for additional weekend or holiday visits. An emerging kehillah is selected to be part of the program for a period of two years, with the opportunity to renew up to two more times for a total of six years. The emerging kehillah will also host all the Gladstein Rabbinic Fellows on an annual visit to the community. This is part of the Fellows’ ongoing training in community development  and entrepreneurial rabbinic leadership
